About Beverly I. Schneider

Bev is a native Coloradoan, born on a farm in Morgan County. She grew up in the Denver area and moved to Fort Collins in 1971. She moved back to a farm in Weld County in 1988 when she married her husband Jack.  She is the proud mother of three children, five grandchildren and one stepson. 

She has an Associates Degree in Farm and Ranch Management. After 28 years, she retired from the USDA Forest Service as an Administrative Officer and Equal Employment Specialist. After retiring she owned and operated two full service travel agencies for 12 years. 

Beverly also organized a Toastmistress Club for women working at the Denver Federal Center.  After moving to Fort Collins, she continued with the local Toastmistress Club. She then became the Federal Women’s Program Manager and developed the Federal Women’s Day conference and later the 3-day Working Woman’s Conference.  She was also one of the founding members of the Women’s Development Council

Bev continues to serve on Church committees and local organizations including the Severance Progressive Club, the Severance Days Committee, Windsor-Severance Library Foundation Board, and the Women’s Task force for the Colorado Rural Electric Association. 

Bev and Jack love to travel and play golf and look forward to many more exciting opportunities in the future.
